Payroll Schedule

FSU pay periods start on Wednesday, end on Tuesday, and are two weeks in length. Timesheets are due in the Payroll Office at 10:00 a.m. on the Wednesday following the pay period end date. Regular pay dates are on the Wednesday one week following the pay period end date. Contractual pay dates are on the Wednesday two weeks following the pay period end date. Since all payroll checks for State of Maryland employees are produced at Central Payroll Bureau in Annapolis, Maryland, it is important for departments to meet the timesheet deadline.
