Mask Guidelines UpdateMasks will be optional at FSU as of 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31. Anyone who feels more comfortable and chooses to continue wearing a mask may do so. According to federal OSHA guidelines, masks will still be required at Brady Health Center and the Counseling Center.

Visitor/Event Information
The University is following CDC guidance based on current conditions in the area. Currently, masks are to be worn indoors in the presence of others, regardless of vaccination status. For outdoor events, masks are encouraged when social distancing is not possible.
Visitors to campus are encouraged to review their symptoms and verify their health through the FSU COVID-19 check-in portal. Users can display the portal’s “Reduced Risk” badge on a mobile device for admission to campus events, or they can respond to symptom-check questions posted at events.
FSU COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
By University System of Maryland mandate, Frostburg State University will require all FSU students and employees on campus for the Fall 2021 term to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.
