ACHIEVE Program

Are you someone who struggles with math? You are not alone, and we are here to help! If you come into college underprepared for college-level math, we have the ACHIEVE program! We offer sections of Math 104 (Intro to Math Problem Solving), Math 109 (Applied Probability and Statistics), Math 118 (Applied Math for Business), and Math 119 (College Algebra) with small classes (no more than 20 students), extra meeting time, Learning Assistants and extra out-of-class learning/office hours, extra support from instructors to help you get where you want to go in the usual time, and collaboration with peers as you all work together to master mathematics!

In Math 104A with Dr. Sureka Pathmanathan, you’ll take on financial math and statistics topics in context! In Math 109A with Ms. Debbie Devlin, you’ll use computer-based statistical tools to analyze real-world data! In Math 118A with Mr. Chris Boyer, you’ll apply algebra and calculus tools to the specific business contexts in your major!
