Emily Ann Schindler was and will always be a fun loving and spirited individual. She always had a smile on her face no matter what the situation was. She was from Pasadena Maryland, where she lived with her Mother, Father, younger brother and sister. Emily enjoyed many hobbies in life. She loved to dance, swim, hangout with her friends and always spend quality time with her family. Emily competed on the SPY swim team for many years and eventually became a swim coach at the Crofton Country Club in Crofton, Md. She was a great role model not only to the younger swimmers she coached, but to her younger brother and sister. Emily always kept her family very close to her heart.
Emily attended one semester here at Frostburg State University; before she was tragically taken from us. We her sisters of Kappa Beta Sigma are very grateful to have gotten the chance to meet Emily and get to know her even for the short amount of time it was. Kappa Beta Sigma was like a family away from home for Emily. To us her sorority sisters there will NEVER be another “Mighty Mouse”. She was so full of energy, perfectly well rounded, down to earth, full of life and always brighten a room when she walked in. To some she may have looked tiny only being about five foot two inches tall, but she was stronger than most people. Emily “Might Mouse” Schindler was a fighter and never gave up on what she believed in.
She is missed and will always be in the hearts of all her friends, family and her sisters of Kappa Beta Sigma. DON’T STOP SMILEN EM! We know you are looking down on all of us and protecting us. We love you, will miss you forever and NEVER forget you! You’ll always be our little “MIGHTY MOUSE”!
