Virginia "Ginny" Pealer

Virginia S. "Ginny" Pealer of Sun City Center, died Sept. 19, 2006. She was born on April 29, 1922, in Harding, W.Va., the daughter of the late Harper and Beulah Smith and was a graduate of Fort Hill High School, Class of 1942.

Mrs. Pealer owned and operated H. E. Smith Service Station and Grocery located at 735 Old Town Road in Cumberland, Md., and retired from the S.T. Little Jewelry Store which was located on Baltimore Street, also in Cumberland. In 1982, Virginia and her husband moved to Sun City Center. For 20 years "Ginny" worked for WCI Communities in Sun City Center, where she developed friendships with thousands of people from all across America. She was a faithful member of The First United Methodist Church of Sun City Center.

Mrs. Pealer is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Mr. Woodward D. Pealer.
