Why do you love FSU?

I love Frostburg because it gave me a sense of community, knowledge, diversity, and amongst other things - purpose!

Why do you give back (time, talent and/or treasure) to FSU?

When it is all said and done, I really want to have a positive impact in the FSU community. I firmly believe in modeling what you want to see in others – compassion and a positive influence on another person.

What do you do for fun?

For fun, I like to cater to my side business (Crafting with Indy) I do outside of my 9-5. I also like to spend time with my family and friends, travel, binge watch a series, or go shopping (window shopping is still fun).

Tell us about a class or activity at FSU that has had a surprising effect on your life.

The Presidents Leadership Circle allowed me to interact with classmates I may not have otherwise and we formed a bond with the president of the university and had the opportunity to travel abroad. It started my passion for traveling.

What is your favorite memory of your time as a Frostburg student?

I have so many favorite memories, but one I’ll mention is homecoming 2014. It was the best homecoming at Frostburg. We had a comedian come, there were step performances, and the homecoming dance was so much fun! As a student, it made me appreciate the school I went to because they made sure we enjoyed ourselves that weekend.

Favorite comfort food

I don’t just have one! I enjoy trying new foods wherever I go.

Favorite vacation spot

Jamaica can take my money every time. The island is so beautiful, the people are so beautiful, and the food is AMAZING.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

I'd love to be a private investigator!
