The 2025 FSU STEM Summit will take place June 17 – 20, 2025, at Frostburg State University. This will be a four-day, three-night immersion program for young people interested in entering a science field as a career. The program will be open to high-achieving students from Allegany and Garrett counties in Maryland, Mineral County in West Virginia, and Bedford and Somerset counties in Pennsylvania; students must be entering the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades in fall 2024. High school STEM teachers in these counties will be asked to recommend exceptional students. Once interested students contact an FSU STEM Summit co-director and provide contact information, applications will be sent. After these are returned and reviewed, twenty students will be invited to attend.
