Guidance If Diagnosed or Close Contact with COVID-19

Guidance if Diagnosed with a Positive COVID Result

Students:

  • If diagnosis occurs from the Brady Health Center, you will be advised on isolation procedures from our nursing staff at Brady Health Center in accordance with current CDC Guidelines. Students living in on-campus residence halls, including Edgewood Commons, will have the choice of isolating at home or in our designated isolation/quarantine residence hall (currently Gray Hall). Students residing off-campus or commuting will isolate in their off-campus apartment or at home.
  • If diagnosis occurs from an external healthcare provider, pharmacy or home test, STAY HOME or in your residence hall room until you are able to notify Brady Health Center by calling 301-687-4310, Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Your healthcare provider or our nursing staff at Brady Health Center will advise you of isolation procedures in accordance with current CDC Guidelines. Students living in on-campus residence halls, including Edgewood Commons, will have the choice of isolating at home or in our designated isolation/quarantine residence hall (currently Gray Hall). If the positive notification occurs after hours or on the weekend, notify your Resident Assistant for guidance regarding self-isolation procedures pending either going home or being relocated to Gray Hall isolation. If you are in a double-occupancy room, notify your Resident Assistant right away, so we can temporarily relocate your roommate and consider possible quarantine recommendations.

Faculty & Staff:
