The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) acted at its October meeting to grant accreditation to FSU’s master’s degree program in nursing for 10 years, extending to December 31, 2029. At its meeting, the Board determined that the program met all four accreditation standards. The Board additionally determined that there are no compliance concerns with respect to their key elements.

The accreditation of FSU’s MSN program includes all four concentration (education, leadership and management, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner). This was the first time that CCNE reviewed the nurse practitioner concentrations.
