Online Application - FSU prefers for you to complete an online application. You can begin your application here. Students who are unable to apply online may email gradservices@frostburg.edu and request a paper copy which may be downloaded, printed and sent to FSU Graduate Services, 101 Braddock Rd, Frostburg, MD 21532.

Official Transcript(s):Students should submit an official copy of all prior transcripts that contributed to the completion of the Baccalaureate as well as any graduate level coursework previously taken. FSU accepts electronic transcripts or a hard copy in a sealed envelope can be sent to the Office of Graduate Services.

Supplemental Application Requirements: the following supplemental application materials can be uploaded in the online application. Applicants who are submitting paper applications must send materials via US mail with the paper application. Applications will be reviewed when all materials are received.

Recommendations:
Three (3) letters of recommendation are required reflecting the applicant's professional and academic background. You will be asked to provide the contact information for your references in the online application process. FSU will send, via email, a request for recommendation directly to your reference contact to be completed online. Students who are submitting paper application can send in recommendation forms which can be found here or provide recommendation letters. -
Personal Statement/Career Goals:The applicant needs to include a statement of career goals which addresses how the master's degree program relates to these goals. Normally, this statement is no longer than one page, single spaced. You will be provided instructions in the online application and can upload your career goal statement online. Applicants who are applying via paper application should send this document with the paper application.

Resume:The applicant is required to submit a current resume or professional vita. Applicants may upload this document in the online application. Applicants submitting paper application should send this document with the paper application.

Application Process:
Following completion of the application and receipt of all documents, the Program Coordinator will make an admission decision and will inform the Office of Graduate Services. The Office of Graduate Services will notify applicants by email and US mail of the admission decision. Students who are admitted to the program are required to participate in an online orientation before starting the program. Students are notified by the Program Coordinator of the orientation dates.
