12 PM Jug Band With Slim Harrison and the Sunnyland Band
Come join the Sunnyland Band for a lively, hands-on musical experience featuring an eclectic collection of traditional and homemade instruments from around the world. Guests can play along on spoons, jugs, washboards, limberjacks, washtub bass, Pennsylvania Dutch “stumpf fiddles,” Cajun frottoirs, African tambourines, Native American whammy diddles, Chinese “gao” bead drums, Latin maracas, castanets and güiros.

Professor Emeritus Sally Stephenson invites audiences on a musical journey through the Appalachian woodlands with her original songs celebrating local wildlife and the joys of exploring the outdoors. Simple instruments will be provided for those who want to join in and sing and play along.
3 PM The Cat and The Fiddle Student Showcase
The Cat and The Fiddle is a folk music school in Capon Bridge, W.Va., founded in 2019 with a mission to create a welcoming environment for music education, hands-on folklife experiences and the development of emerging musicians. During this showcase, students and teachers will share music they have learned and taught at the school, highlighting the traditions and community that make The Cat and The Fiddle unique. 4 PM Barn Dance with Slim Harrison and Friends
Join Slim Harrison and Friends for a lively Community Barn Dance featuring music, storytelling and traditional dances. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, storyteller and dance caller, Slim draws inspiration from the many musicians and communities he has encountered across the country and around the world. His greatest joy is sharing the music and dances of America and beyond with audiences of all ages.
