Telework Policy Agreement with AFSCME Council 3/Local 239

FSU would like to announce that an agreement has been made between Frostburg State University (FSU) and AFSCME Council 3/Local 239 on the new telework policy. This policy is effective October 4, 2021 for all AFSCME collective bargaining unit members and is in alignment with the state of Maryland Teleworking Program.

Just as a reminder, FSU began returning all employees back to work on campus as of August 30, 2021 for the fall semester and all employees are required to return to work on campus by October 11, 2021. Eligibility for teleworking under this agreement requires approval by the Vice President of the division based on the employee’s role and responsibilities.
