Youth Programs

Welcome to Frostburg State University's Youth Programs and Camps

At Frostburg State University, we are committed to providing a safe, enriching, and enjoyable experience for minors participating in our programs or attending non-FSU programs on campus. Our campus is a place of learning and growth, and we take our responsibility to protect all participants seriously. This website serves as your comprehensive guide to understanding and adhering to our policies and procedures designed to ensure the safety and well-being of minors engaged in activities on campus.

All Youth Program Administrators are required to register their program through the Event Services Office to initiate the process required of all employees or volunteers working with minors. Event Services will assist you in determining if your event requires certification through the Maryland Department of Health for the operation of a Youth Program.

Specific procedures, guidelines, and Youth Program forms are located on this website.

These procedures and guidelines do not apply to general public events where parents/guardians retain care, custody, and control of the minors and are expected to provide adequate supervision. The University expects parents or guardians to supervise minors on campus unless they are involved in an activity or program with minors.
