Before a potential student visits campus, before they get their first mailing, they'll likely check out the FSU website. We are the University's front door!
Let's make the most of that! Web & Digital Services provides standards and guidelines to help provide guidance on the structure, design and content of University websites and digital products.
Accessibility: As a state intuition that receives federal funding, FSU must adhere to to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Read more about the how and why of making your webpages ADA accessible.
General Guidelines: "Web standards" is a term for the formal specifications and recommendations for building webpages. Keep these guidelines in mind when building or maintaining your webpages.
Social media helps us share ideas and events and talk to people all over the world. It gives us new opportunities to connect with current and prospective students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and friends.
Social media accounts must be registered with the Office of Marketing and Communications.
All accounts must have two admins; no students are allowed to be admins.
InfoStations throughout campus are a great way to promote your event at no cost. To add info to campus digital signage, create a help desk ticket and choose "Digital Signage" from the drop down list.
