Study Ranks Frostburg State University Among the Best Value Colleges in Maryland

Frostburg State University has been ranked as one of the top Best Value Colleges and Universities in Maryland by SmartAsset, a New York-based financial company.
As the highest-ranking university in Maryland with fewer than 10,000 students, FSU ranked among the top five institutions, along with the University of Maryland College Park, Johns Hopkins University, University of Maryland Baltimore County and Towson University.
SmartAsset compared five factors to determine the best value colleges and universities in the United States, including starting salary, tuition, living expenses, student retention rates and scholarships awarded.
According to the study, FSU graduates earn an average starting salary of $53,600.
