Frostburg State University’s ASTAR AmeriCorps program will hold a Book and Resource Giveaway Community Outreach Project beginning Saturday, April 6, through Wednesday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at City Place, 14 S. Water St. in Frostburg.

The public is invited to choose from a wide variety of items at no cost. This year’s event will feature food, books and other miscellaneous items. Supply is limited, so those interested are encouraged to arrive early.

This event is supported by FSU and ASTAR, AmeriCorps grantees who receive funds as part of their national and state program, as well as the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism.
