Why do you love FSU?

I love FSU because it was one of the best experiences in my life. The professors, friends, and atmosphere were memorable and helped me to grow as a person.

Why do you give back (time and/or treasure) to FSU?

Giving back to FSU shows the positive impact the university had on me. We became family, and there’s nothing I wouldn't do for family. I’ll always rep FSU.

What do you do for fun?

I like to golf and coach my son in sports.

Favorite tv show?

The Walking Dead and Billions.

What is your favorite memory of your time as a Frostburg student?

Being part of the 1993 football team. It was the first team in school history to advance to the NCAA Division III playoffs. I appreciated all of my teammates I ever played with, but that team was special.

Tell us about a person or persons from FSU who had an impact on your life.

My 30 East Brothers (Darrius Smith ’95, Herb Thomas ’96, Joe Holland ’95, Kevin Bellamy ’94 and Andre’ Parker), Bernard Wynder ’78/M’84, Coach Mike McGlinchey and staff, Dr. Tony Zaloga and Dr. Tyra Phipps ’71. My interactions with these people had a HUGE influence in my life and development of the person I am today.

Favorite vacation spot?

Riviera Maya, Mexico … until I get to Maldives at some point.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Full-time stock/ETF market trader. The market has always been intriguing to me.
