Why did you choose to attend FSU?
I must admit, I was influenced by a friend who entered Frostburg the year before I did.
What three words can you use to describe FSU?
Family, Constant, Resilient
Why do you do for fun?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends and watching foreign series on Netflix.

What is a cause dear to your heart?
My nonprofit, Speak On It, Act On It, Inc. You can learn more by visiting www.speakonitactonit.org.
Tell us about a class or activity at FSU that has had a surprising effect on your life.
As a member of the women's track and field team, I learned to love the sport even more than I expected. This love carried over to my adulthood, leading me to coach at the youth, high school and collegiate levels.
What is your favorite memory as a student?
My favorite memories of being a student at Frostburg are the times when the student body initiated events to educate and entertain.
What advice would you give to a student currently studying your major?
I would advise any student at FSU, no matter what your major, to look at the big picture, take advantage of your time there by being present, enjoy the wins and reflect on the things that didn't quite go your way. Be prepared to pay it forward--Frostburg feeds into you. Your time will come to pour it out into the next generation by giving of your time, talents and/or treasures.
Why do you give back to FSU?
I have a sense of community and pride to have been a student at FSU. Frostburg educated me, created lifelong friendships and helped to create a purpose in me. Giving time, talent and/or treasure is the least I can do for the institution that gave so much to me.
