CITI Program Training
Frostburg State University offers training via the CITI Program. CITI provides research ethics, compliance and professional development education via an online platform. The CITI courses that Frostburg State University offers include:
- Human Subjects Training – Basic and Refresher (IRB)
- Essentials of Grant Proposal Development (EGPD)
- Compensation Reporting
- Animal Care and Use - (IACUC) and Laboratory Animal Welfare (IACUC)
- Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)
- Conflicts of Interest (COI)
If you are interested in completing a CITI course (see course list above), you will need to first create a CITI Program account.
Please follow the following directions to create an account:
If you do not have a CITI Program account, you can create an account from the CITI log in page
- Select REGISTER (below the CITI Program logo at the top of the page).
- Click on “Select Your Organization Affiliation” and enter “Frostburg State University” and then agree to the terms and your affiliation with Frostburg State University.
- You will then finish the registration information and select the curriculum (courses) that you are interested in completing.
- Once you complete the course, please email the PDF of the Completion Certificate to osp@frostburg.edu
If you already have a CITI Program account:
- Log into the CITI Program
- Select "My Courses" at the top left.
- Select "View Courses" next to Frostburg State University.
- Scroll all the way to bottom of page.
- Within the Learner Tools grey box, select “Add a Course.”
- You will then be on the Select Curriculum page and here you may select the course(s) that you are interested in enrolling. Once you have selected the course(s) click “submit.”
- The new course(s) will be listed on your “Active Courses” page as “Courses Ready to Begin.”
- Once the course is complete, please email the PDF of the Completion Certificate to osp@frostburg.edu
