Exercise and Sport Science Program

Welcome

Exercise and Sports Science (EXSS) is a growing field with an ever increasing number of people interested in it. A vast range of career options are available from anything related to fitness, health, and wellness. With this rise in interest by the general population to become healthier, more EXSS professions are expected to develop in the coming years.

Students at FSU begin their study with science and health courses and graduate with a variety of hands on experiential learning opportunities. In addition to a full-time internship during their senior year, they complete several semesters of field experience along with specific coursework designed to prepare them for various fitness and wellness certifications.  The program at FSU is unique and detailed to prepare students for a variety of opportunities upon graduation.
