Program Highlights

The program is designed for professionals in the recreation, parks, and sports management industry who want to develop their administrative skills.
The program is offered totally online with new cohorts starting every fall. Seven-week intensive courses are offered online every semester, allowing students to complete the program in less than two years.
Online orientation, held on various dates in August, is designed to help students become familiar with the program, provide online training, introduce them to faculty, and allow for some social interaction prior to the beginning of their educational journey.

Students pursuing the degree can complete a traditional thesis, a project from the four options: Business Plan, Strategic Plan, Program Design, and Facility Design, or a practicum experience.
