Sean Cercone: Broadway Producer
Theatre alumni Sean Cercone ’99 credits FSU with launching his journey in the arts. Cercone founded Broadway Licensing in 2017 and developed it into a notable company that currently licenses many productions annually for schools and theatres worldwide, including A Bronx Tale, Escape to Margaritaville (co-written by FSU alum Greg Garcia ’92), Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, and many more. Recently, he established Dramallama, a revolutionary play licensing platform for theatre educators. Cercone’s story demonstrates the impact of FSU’s theatre program and how learning about acting and the business side of it inspired him to reshape live entertainment.
