Institutional Research

The Institutional Research (IR) unit provides management information and centralized data products to customers both within and outside the University. IR is responsible for reporting aggregated data that describe Frostburg State University's student and professional populations.

Institutional Research supports the campus community by providing data for planning, policy analysis, and decision-making. The unit interprets and translates data into meaningful insights, while also fulfilling compliance reporting requirements at federal and state levels. More than 30 mandated reports are generated annually for external agencies.
