Quincy M. Crawford

Quincy Crawford is the retired President and CEO of First Financial Group. Mr. Crawford entered the financial services field in 1968 and became general manager in Maryland for a national firm in 1971. In 1977, Mr. Crawford founded First Financial Group, which has grown to approximately 250 professionals and staff, generating approximately $20 million per year in annual revenue and is the largest privately-held financial planning firm in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Active in industry affairs, Mr. Crawford has served as President of the Prince George's Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and as President of the Baltimore Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Additionally, he has served as President of the Maryland State Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, as well as President of the Baltimore Society of Financial Services Professionals.

The Baltimore Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors awarded Mr. Crawford the prestigious George S. Robertson Award for lifetime accomplishments and service to the financial services industry.

The Maryland State Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (MAIFA) awarded him the Paul Murphy Award for lifetime contributions to the financial services industry and placed Mr. Crawford in the MAIFA Hall of Fame.

Mr. Crawford is a graduate of the Frostburg State University Class of 1965 with a degree in mathematics. While attending Frostburg State University, Mr. Crawford was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) social fraternity, Captain of the varsity basketball team, and was elected Vice President of his graduating class.

He has been married to Eugenia Zorn Crawford, FSU Class of 1967, since 1967. They currently reside in Annapolis, Maryland. They have three children: Quincy Crawford, III, J.D., an attorney in Baltimore; Cassandra Crawford Gibson, Ph.D., a research director at Temple University and adjunct professor at Cabrini College; and Steven Crawford, Executive Vice President, First Financial Group.
