Recent Economics Graduates Make All of Us Proud!

Victoria Rosser (left) presented a poster titled “American Foreign-Language Speakers and U.S. Imports: Not the Usual Trade Flow “at the Undergraduate Research Symposium, held in the Lane University Center on May 6, 2022. This study investigated the impact of language speakers in the United States on American trade volume, with a focus on U.S. imports from abroad. Victoria graduated summa cum laude from FSU in Spring of 2022, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Public Policy Economics Concentration) with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Ivy Mackereth (right) was accepted into West Virginia University’s Ph.D. Program in Natural Resources Economics in Fall 2022 after graduating Summa Cum Laude last spring with a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Quantitative Economics Concentration with a 3.939 GPA. Ivy was the only person in the WVU program this year who was offered a full assistantship in addition to a substantial stipend.
