Homecoming 2023 was nothing short of spectacular thanks to the vibrant spirit showcased at the first-ever Intercollege Tailgate hosted by the Recreation and Parks Department with the support of the Student Recreation Society. This exciting event brought together the College of Business, Engineering, and Computational & Mathematical Sciences (CBECMS) and the College of Education and Health & Natural Sciences (CEHNS) for an unforgettable celebration.

A tradition within the CEHNS, the Recreation and Parks Department decided to amplify the festivities by extending the invitation to their new collegiate family. This marked a significant move since the department's relocation, emphasizing the importance of preserving connections with the old and new academic families.

The event was a heartwarming blend of nostalgia and camaraderie as students, faculty, and alumni came together to create lasting memories.

Looking towards the future, the Recreation and Parks Department envisions the tailgate evolving into a much-anticipated annual tradition, attracting an even more diverse crowd of students, faculty, and alumni from both the CBECMS and CEHNS.

Here's to the success of the first Intercollege Tailgate and the promising traditions it holds for the future!
