Geography and Sustainability Students Clean Up DCL State Park

On Oct. 27, a group of FSU geography and sustainability students traveled to Deep Creek Lake State Park to assist in the Deep Creek Defense program. The team worked to remove invasive species, including Japanese barberry, autumn olive and multiflora rose. 

This program was led by EllaRose Warnick ’23, an earth science and environmental science alum, who is serving as a naturalist at Deep Creek Lake State Park.
