Thank you Bedford EMT

FSU faculty and staff in the Department of Educational Professions recently enjoyed a day of training provided free of charge by Bedford Area Ambulance in recognition of Dr. Jenna Epstein's, assistant professor in the department, service to EMS. Epstein regularly provides pro bono trauma counseling for the station.
Faculty and staff from the College of Education and Health & Natural Sciences received CPR, first aid, and Narcan training. In addition to the engaging education provided by Dailey Chandler, everyone was given face shields to protect them during emergency CPR situations.
All of the attendees left the training certified in CPR and the use of Narcan and had an amplified appreciation for the incredible work carried out by EMS professionals everywhere, every day.
FSU is fortunate to have this partnership with Bedford Area Ambulance and looks forward to the possibility of future training opportunities.
