FSEA and FAEYC Host Slime Night for FSU Education Majors

On October 1, 2025, FSEA teamed up with FAEYC to host Slime Night, offering FSU education majors a fun and engaging opportunity this semester. As part of the event, students received a comprehensive handout detailing how slime can be used in the classroom, including sample lesson plans tailored for upper elementary and middle school students.

 

Building Connections: FSEA at the MSEA Convention

From October 16–18, 2025, FSEA Executive Board members attended the MSEA Convention in Ocean City, MD, for a weekend of networking and professional development. They participated in workshops on topics from Social-Emotional Learning to social justice in the classroom and connected with educators from across the state. Several attendees expressed interest in collaborating with FSEA and speaking to FSU students in the future.

 

 

FSEA Spirit Night at El Maya

FSEA hosted a Spirit Night at El Maya Mexican Restaurant, bringing the FSU community together to raise $193. This funding directly supports future educators, ensuring FSU education majors have every opportunity to grow in their field. The event was filled with friendly faces, including Todd Logsdon (pictured on right), the Mayor of Frostburg, highlighting the strong support of our local community.
