FSU Students Attend Teaching Excellence Awards

The 2025 Maryland State Teacher of the Year Awards Banquet, hosted by the Maryland State Department of Education, honored outstanding educators from all 24 local school systems for excellence in teaching and leadership. The event culminated in the recognition of Maryland’s 2025 Teacher of the Year.

Students from Frostburg State University, including senior education  majors selected by faculty in the Department of Educational Professions, also attended the banquet, gaining an inspiring opportunity to witness excellence in teaching and connect with the next generation of educators.
