MSN Administration FAQs
How long is the program?
The program consists of 12 nursing-specific courses. The nursing courses are taught over four semesters (including a summer semester if a part time student) so the program can be completed in 24 months for full time students.
Will I ever need to come to campus?
The nursing content is delivered online with synchronous 'virtual' classes scheduled for some courses to enhance understanding of the content. This means that you choose your classroom - whether it is your home, workplace, or the local library. It is never required that you come to campus, although we welcome you at any time.

Textbooks
Textbook information can be found on our FSU Bookstore web site under the “TEXTBOOKS” tab. The same textbook is used in all sections of the class.
We will likely add to this later if we have other FAQ’s that come up…but I have not encountered many with the MSN students.
