You will be prepared to oversee school curriculums and teaching standards, develop educational material to implement with teachers and principals, and assess its effectiveness. You will also be qualified to conduct training for teachers as instructional coordinators, explain new learning standards to teachers and demonstrate the effective methods to achieve them. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates 13 percent growth in jobs for instructional coordinators, representing about 18,500 positions. Growth in the field will grow focus on evaluating and improving curricula and instruction.
