Admission Process

Master of Education – Literacy Education

or Post-bachelor Certificate in Literacy Education

Students may apply for a start date of Fall, Spring or Summer and attend full-time or part-time to best meet professional and personal needs.

There are no deadlines for application; however incomplete applications may result in a delay in your start date.

Interested candidates must follow the below procedures.

  1. Apply:  Application can be made online.  Students who are unable to apply online may email gradservices@frostburg.edu and request a paper copy which can be downloaded, printed and sent via US postal service.

  2. Send official undergraduate and graduate transcripts to: Please note that FSU alumni need not send transcripts as the Office of Graduate Services has access to FSU alumni transcripts.

  3. Submit Praxis II scores and/or copy of teacher certification (Students must be certified or certification eligible for admission to this program)
