Anne SanGiovanni

Anne Marie SanGiovanni is a legal professional with over 40 years of experience. Born and raised in Cumberland, MD, she attended Allegany College of Maryland where she earned an AA degree in Legal Studies. She then attended the University of Maryland where she earned a B.S. in Legal Studies. She began her career working in a local law office before moving to Washington, DC to further her legal career. After several years she moved back to Cumberland and worked as a real estate paralegal for 10 years. She then took a position with Allegany County Circuit Court as a paralegal to the Circuit Court Judges, a position she held for 14 years. She was promoted to Circuit Court Administrator where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the court. She served 16 years in that position before retiring in 2022. While working for the court she was a member of several legal professional organizations, including being an Instructor for the Institute of Court Management. She currently is an adjunct instructor in the Legal Studies and Criminal Justice program at Allegany College of Maryland.
