Carl Pritchard

Carl Pritchard is a lecturer, author, training and award-winning member of the global Project Management Institute.  He has lectured around the globe, and was named "Best of the Best" in project management by PMI Global.  He has authored ten books and has been an instructor with the PMI SeminarsWorld series since the early 1990’s.

Pritchard is a certified PMP®, PMI-RMP® (Risk) and former EVP (Earned Value), as certified by the Project Management Institute and the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering, respectively. His texts include the tutorial guide, The Project Management Drill Book, and his most recent work, The Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP®) Cert Guide, Pearson Education (2024).  His landmark college text, Risk Management Concepts & Guidance, will be released in its 6th Edition this May. 

Carl is a storyteller of the highest order, and is recognized as the "fun guy" of project management.  He lives in Lavale, MD with his lovely wife of 42 years, Nancy.
