Timi Hadra is a Partner with IBM Consulting, serving in the Federal market.  She is IBM’s Senior State Executive for West Virginia and leads IBM’s regional innovation center in Rocket Center, West Virginia.  Timi led the expansion of this strategic center, increasing the workforce by over 47% in just over three years.

Much of Timi’s work is focused on creating STEM and workforce development opportunities in underserved regions.  In 2018, Timi led IBM’s launch of the first Application Developer Apprenticeship program in West Virginia.  Ms Hadra testified at the January 17th, 2024 hearing of the House Oversight and Accountability subcommittee titled “Toward an AI-Ready Workforce”.  She also endorsed the April 2024 ACCESS Act in the House.  This bipartisan bill will help to fill more open jobs in critical sectors such as IT and cybersecurity, open pathways to meaningful and well-paid jobs for more Americans, and help grow a more diverse and talented U.S. workforce.

In addition to workforce issues, Ms. Hadra is a transformational leader providing relevant and compelling solutions to government clients’ missions in the areas of data transformation, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing.  She has over 22 years of experience serving our Federal Government clients in various capacities including contract management, program management and business development.  Ms. Hadra currently serves as IBM Consulting’s delivery executive for U.S. Navy and U.S Veterans Affairs clients. 

In support of regional economic development, Timi is the immediate past Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of The Greater Cumberland Committee (TGCC).  TGCC is a non-profit, business-based organization serving five counties in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.  TGCC focuses on projects of regional relevance in the areas of economic development, transportation, workforce readiness, education, energy and next generation leadership.  Timi continues to serve on the TGCC Board.  She is the recipient of TGCC’s 2022 Greater Good award, an annual award given to a member who demonstrates a commitment to advancing the greater good in the tri-state region, and recognizes and practices the philosophy of “less fame, more gain.” 

Timi is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Frostburg State University Foundation, Frostburg, Maryland.  She also services on the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)-Western Maryland campus’s Community Advisory Board. 

Timi is a Certified Executive Coach.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Frostburg State University, a Master’s of Science in Regional Economics from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Masters of Contract Management from the American Graduate University.  She and her husband currently reside in Mineral County, WV, and North Myrtle Beach, SC.
