Art WorkDepartment of Visual Arts

The BFA in Visual Arts from FSU provides pre-professional experience and a focused studio program in graphic design, illustration, photography, painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics and art education, with minors including art history.

Graduates will have developed an individual style or approach culminating in a senior exhibition, internship, career entrance, or graduate school.

FSU's liberal arts education helps our students develop a range of capabilities relevant to today's society: the capacity to think critically and creatively, principled leadership and communication skills, abilities to engage in the arts and humanities, and the development of a broad understanding of the world.
