FSU's Educational Access Channel

FSU-TV3 is a 24-hour a day educational access channel that reaches nearly 5,000 homes in the Frostburg area and also FSU students on the basic tier on Comcast's cable system. It is programmed and operated, year-round, by students in the Program of Mass Communication.

FSU-TV3 presents programming produced by the faculty, staff and students in the Program of Mass Communication. These shows include documentaries; "The Frostburg Minute"; "Western Maryland Today"; FSU concerts; guest speakers; multi-camera events such as panel discussions and more.

Our outside programming comes from PEGMEDIA.ORG, The Smithsonian, and The Fairfax Network.  You watch shows that are in featuring Arts and Entertainment, History, Life and Leisure, Literature and Science and Technology. When FSU-TV3 isn't airing programming, it carries a message board with announcements about University and community events.

Mission Statement

We aspire to make FSU-TV3 the University's and community's premiere center for access to educational programming in the local Frostburg, Lonaconing, and Mount Savage areas.  The staff and students are committed to producing quality programming to facilitate communication and dialogue among students and area residents. In everything we do, we strive to act with honesty, openness, fairness and integrity in the communities in which we live and work according to the rules set forth for PEG channel broadcasting.

Vision Statement

The vision of FSU-TV3 is to become the area's first choice channel for educational programming appealing to both Frostburg State University students and members of the local community.

FSU-TV3 welcomes comments from its viewers.
