Feb 25, 2019 4:30 PM

It’s not March Madness yet, but Frostburg State University is watching its bracket! Beginning this week, Blue Ridge Outdoors is asking its readers to choose which college deserves to be crowned Top Adventure College.

Selected for their commitment to outdoor and environmental curricula and opportunities, schools meet in head-to-head matchups in a 32-school bracket. The school receiving the most votes advances to the next round.

Frostburg offers multiple degree options for students interested in adventure, especially the bachelor’s program in adventure sports management. Students may also study in undergrad or graduate programs focused on the outdoors and the environment such as

  • recreation and parks management,
  • wildlife and fisheries,
  • ethnobotany,
  • interpretive biology and natural history,
  • earth science,
  • environmental analysis and planning,
  • sustainability or applied ecology and
  • conservation biology.

Beyond academics, the university has easy access to world-class trails and recreational opportunities.

Voting begins this week and ends at 10 a.m. on the Monday of each week. Vote once per day to move a favorite college or university to the next round. Visit contests.blueridgeoutdoors.com to vote.
