Frostburg State University’s ASTAR AmeriCorps Program to Host Annual Book & Resource Giveaway

Frostburg State University’s ASTAR AmeriCorps program will hold a Book and Resource Giveaway Community Outreach Project beginning Sat., April 12 through Wed., April 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at City Place, 14 S. Water St. in Frostburg.

The public is invited to choose from a wide variety of items at no cost. This year’s event will feature food, books and other miscellaneous items. Supply is limited, so those interested are encouraged to arrive early.

This event is supported by FSU and ASTAR, AmeriCorps grantees that receive funds as part of their national and state program, as well as the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism.
