CITI Program Training

Frostburg State University offers training through the CITI Program, which provides online research ethics, compliance, and professional development courses.

Available CITI Courses

  • Human Subjects Training – Basic and Refresher (IRB)
  • Essentials of Grant Proposal Development (EGPD)
  • Compensation Reporting
  • Animal Care and Use (IACUC) and Laboratory Animal Welfare (IACUC)
  • Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)
  • Conflicts of Interest (COI)
If You Do Not Have a CITI Program Account
  1. Go to the CITI login page and select Register (below the CITI Program logo).
  2. Under Select Your Organization Affiliation, enter Frostburg State University, then agree to the terms.
  3. Complete your registration details and select the courses you would like to take.
  4. When finished, email your PDF Completion Certificate to osp@frostburg.edu.
If You Already Have a CITI Program Account
  1. Log in at the CITI Program site.
  2. Select My Courses at the top left.
  3. Click View Courses next to Frostburg State University.
  4. Scroll to the Learner Tools section and select Add a Course.
  5. On the Select Curriculum page, choose your course(s) and click Submit.
  6. Your new courses will appear under Active Courses as “Courses Ready to Begin.”
  7. When finished, email your PDF Completion Certificate to osp@frostburg.edu.
