Teacher Preparation Major

Frostburg State University’s undergraduate program in Health and Wellness (Physical Education) is designed to prepare you for a teaching career in any grade, from pre-kindergarten through high school. This nationally accredited program will lead you to a fulfilling career where your passions for health, physical activity, and positively impacting young lives collide. Upon graduation from the program and successful completion of State of Maryland licensing requirements, you will be eligible for teacher certification in Health Education AND Physical Education. This dual focus can be completed in four years!
