Dr. Stacy Wassell is the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) at Frostburg State University and leads the Legacy Business Transition Program, designed to assist, facilitate, and coordinate the ownership transition of existing businesses.
With more than two decades of leadership at Frostburg State University, Dr. Wassell works to expand entrepreneurial opportunities by connecting students, faculty, entrepreneurs, and community partners through experiential learning, innovation initiatives, and collaborative programming. Through CEI, she guides innovators from early ideas to market-ready ventures, driving community and economic impact.
Stacy creates engaging programs and helps launch creative, community-focused businesses. Her work focuses on inspiring an entrepreneurial mindset, empowering future innovators, and building connections that support economic vitality.
