Accommodations

Each Summit participant will have a private, non-air conditioned room in an FSU residence hall. Each has a private bathroom. The average high and low temperatures in Frostburg in late June are 78 and 58 degrees. Males and females will be housed on separate floors of the residence hall and Resident Assistants will be in the building to supervise and monitor. Micro-fridges and bed linens are provided.

What to pack for the Summit?   

  • Hand towel and shower towel. 
  • Comfortable walking shoes, t-shirts, shorts and hat.
  • Umbrella and/or rain poncho, as well as old shoes  
  • Toiletries including toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, sunscreen, etc.
  • A fan for your dorm room
  • Any athletic equipment such as basketballs, volleyballs, or frisbees for your free time
