Local NAACP Holds Safe Not Silent March and Rally

Breonna TaylorIn June, the local chapter of the Allegany County NAACP Branch 7007 held a very successful "Safe Not Silent" march and rally with over 300 people in attendance.

A second rally, in honor of Breonna Tayler, will be held this Saturday, October 3rd at 2:00 p.m.

Registration begins at 1:30 at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Cumberland, MD. The march will begin at the church and end at city hall.

Bus transportation is provided free of charge for students planning to attend. The bus will depart from the PAC parking lot at 1:00 p.m. To reserve a seat, please see the link below for the (free) ticket sales. You must sign in using your FSU login to reserve tickets.
