Documentary: Mirrors of Privilege: Making Whiteness Visible

In last semester's program, the ODEI office presented the film "Mirrors of Privilege: Making Whiteness Visible" by Shakti Butler. This film aims to help organizations bridge the gap between good intentions and meaningful change. It features first-person stories from white men and women who share their experiences overcoming unconscious bias and entitlement. The film illustrates what individuals must do to move through stages such as denial, defensiveness, guilt, fear, and shame, ultimately leading to a solid commitment to ending racial injustice.
