What Happens After a Report is Made?

- contact the individual(s) identified within the report via email to request a meeting.
- assess the situation to determine the safety of the student and others in the campus community.
- explain to the person(s) their administrative and legal options, making sure that the student is provided the opportunity to state their preference for moving forward.
- At the same time, the University’s Office of Federal Regulatory Compliance ensures that the person(s) has access to the resources and support they need both short- and long-term.
