LEOSA Qualification
Under the Law Enforcement Officers’ Safety Act (LEOSA), retired law enforcement personnel may be eligible to carry a concealed firearm nationwide, provided they meet all federal and departmental requirements. Qualification and documentation must be maintained in accordance with LEOSA standards and Maryland regulations.
The cost of this training, through the Frostburg State University Police Department, is $75.00.

- completed LEOSA Qualification Application
- photocopy of ID (front & back)
- photocopy of retiree card
- a check for $75.00 made out to Frostburg State University
- hearing and eye protection
- firearm
- 80 rounds
