The FSU Tutoring Center is dedicated to empowering students to achieve both academic excellence and overall student success by providing a wide range of accessible and personalized tutoring services. Our mission emphasizes creating a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment where all students feel valued and capable of reaching their full potential. Goals of the Tutoring Center

• To create a welcoming, professional, and student-focused environment that fosters learning, motivation, and academic achievement for students of all backgrounds.
• To recruit, train, and mentor highly qualified student tutors who are equipped to provide knowledgeable, empathetic, and effective academic support across a wide range of subjects and disciplines.
• To offer diverse tutoring formats—including one-on-one, group, and online sessions—as well as workshops, presentations, and supplemental learning activities that address varied learning styles, academic levels, and student needs.
• To increase campus-wide awareness of the Tutoring Center’s resources, promoting collaboration with faculty, staff, and campus organizations to maximize student engagement and accessibility.
• To continually assess, develop, and share expertise in tutoring practices, pedagogical strategies, and academic support programs with campus partners, ensuring that the Tutoring Center remains a leading resource for student learning and success.
