  • Traditional BSN Program Clinical Requirements

    Students enrolled in the BSN program are required to complete 540 practicum hours across a variety of practice settings, including adult health, pediatrics, obstetrics, mental health, and community health. Most practicum hours will be completed as part of a clinical group under the supervision of a faculty member on-site. Clinical placements are generally located within a 30-minute drive of the Frostburg State University campus; however, some experiences may require travel of up to one hour. Students are responsible for securing reliable transportation to and from all assigned clinical sites. Health, background check, and education requirements may vary by clinical site. Students may be required to complete additional site-specific requirements as determined by the clinical agency.
